Description

Our Premier mixture for winter sports, A20 is used on some of the top winter sports pitches in the UK. A combination of four top-performing species of perennial ryegrasses which deliver excellent fineness of leaf, a good cleanness of cut and a dense sward which is exceptionally easy to mow into stripes. The mixture also offers good disease resistance and fantastic post winter recovery.

A20 Premier Ryesport

The seed element of A20 Seed & Feed provides a combination of four top-performing species of perennial ryegrasses which deliver excellent fineness of leaf, a good cleanness of cut and a dense sward which is exceptionally easy to mow into stripes.

The seed mixture - A20 Premier Ryesport - also offers good levels of a disease resistance and fantastic post-winter recovery. The seed mixture can be customised, enabling you to create your own bespoke specification.

Fertiliser Programme

For the fertiliser component of the A20 Seed & Feed package, you are able to select either a soil or sand based programme.A third nutrient programme, for park pitches and local community pitches is also available.

All three of these programmes use the very best phased-release fertilisers to ensure that every penny you put into the pitch works hard and gets the results you expect.

Sowing Rate 35g - 100g/m2  (350 - 1000kg/ha)
Sowing Time March - October
Sowing Depth 10mm
Sowing Instructions Create a fine friable seedbed down to 150mm in depth. Carry out two equal sowings at right angles to each other and diagonally to main axis. Broadcast manually or use seed drill, rake level and roll. Ensure good seed to soil contact.
