Description
Soil specific sustainable solutions
Expertly formulated for sandy and calcareous soils, A35 thrives in tough spaces where other mixtures struggle. Deeper-rooted species ensure resilience in drought-prone areas, while nitrogen producing legumes like birdsfoot trefoil and common vetch feed and support the surrounding plants.

Usage Guide
Sowing Rate | 15g/m2 |
---|---|
Sowing Time | March-October |
Sowing Instructions | Create a fine friable seedbed down to 150mm in depth. Carry out two equal sowings at right angles to each other and diagonally to main axis. Broadcast manually or use seed drill, rake level and roll. Ensure good seed-to-soil contact. |
Cutting Height | Down to 30mm |
Minimum Cutting Regime | Minimum 1 cut per year |
Maintenance |
A35 offers two flexible management approaches: a wildflower meadow strategy with a single late August cut, or a managed amenity regime with four annual cuts in early May, July, September, and October. While more frequent mowing may reduce flowering potential, the mixture still improves soil structure and enhances carbon sequestration compared to traditional grass monocultures. For high-traffic areas requiring intensive management, our ASustain mixture provides an ideal solution. Regardless of approach, always collect and remove arisings to maintain ecological balance and prevent nutrient accumulation. |
